To get to It’s A Dog’s World from Calgary,
go East to Strathmore on the Trans Canada (#1) Highway.
Turn right at the first traffic light in Strathmore (at the Esso)
onto Highway 817. Go South for 5 km.

We are the grey house on the Right (West) side of the highway.
There is dog agility equipment in the yard and a sign near the gate.

You can also travel East from Calgary on Highway 22X until you reach the Highway 817 (Strathmore) sign. Turn left to go North on Highway 817 for about 8 – 10 km. Dog’s World will be on your left about 300 meters North of a Wood Working Factory.

Mixed Agility Class Three Sessions Instructor: Lorne Mc Gee

Session 1 Tuesdays May 23, 30, June 6, 20, 27, 2017 7:00pm – 9:00pm (No Class June 13)

Session 2 Tuesdays July 4, 11, 18, 25, 2017 7 :00pm – 9:00pm

Session 3 Tuesdays August 1,8, 15, 22, 29 2017 7:00pm – 9:00pm

This class is suitable for dog/handler teams learning to run beginner type sequences and perfecting obstacle performance. An exercise will be set and students will work to improve handling skills.

Maximum 8 dog/handler teams

Cost 87.50 Includes GST for each 5 week session (4 week session is $70 including GST)


Mixed Agility Class Instructor: Keri Daun

Fridays May 5, 12, 19, 26, June 2, 9, 16 6:30 – 9:00

This class is suitable for dog/handler teams from those that have taken beginner lessons up to those working at the elite level.

A course or exercise will be set and students will work on sections of it based on the instructor’s judgment and the team’s needs and abilities.

Maximum 8 dog/handler teams

$140 (includes GST) for 7 weeks.


Puppy class Instructor: Keri Daun

Thursdays May 4, 11, 18, 25, June 1, 8, 15 6:00 – 7:00

The class will offer lessons geared toward foundation exercises leading to an all-around, well balanced puppy. They will focus on relationship building exercises such as recall, handler focus, puppy core balance as well as a foundation for agility.

$70.00 (includes GST) for 7 weeks Maximum 5 dog/handler teams


Sunday Seminars Instructor: Keri Daun

Sunday May 14, May 28, June 4, June 11 June 18  9:00 – 4:00 Lunch included.

Full day workshops offer an opportunity to focus on learning new skills or working on skills you wish to improve upon. There will be a focus on Obstacle Discrimination and directionals with the possibility to also focus on contact performance and/or weave pole performance. Please send Keri a short email indicating your dog’s level and the skills you with to work on. She will try to incorporate them in the workshops.

$110/seminar (includes GST). The day will run with as few as 3 dog/handler teams but the time will be reduced depending on dog stamina.
